Who we are
We are a small young church attracting young families, older families, singles, couples, youth, college age, basically everyone who wants to be a part. Our church is not so much defined by the demographic of age, race, or economic status, but rather by the relentless pursuit of God's glory. Our core belief is that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him. So we seek his glory knowing that in finding his glory, our hearts will be fully satisfied and our desire for anything other than him will dwindle.
We want to create an environment of excitement and relevance to the culture in Modesto, Stanislaus County and the Central Valley in general. It's ironic that Stanislaus County has the highest per capita population of evangelicals in the entire state, but we have the highest number of car thefts and meth heads as well. Are the evangelicals stealing cars and tossing back Sudafed? I doubt that, but I also think that those who claim to be Christians are working hard at following traditions and trojan truth (not real, absolute truth) and are burned out! Depression instead of joy. Hunger instead of fulfillment. Disappointment and despair instead of daring, risk taking, life giving, pursuit of Jesus. And we want to ask questions to help change all this...Jesus did, so we figured we'd follow His example.
We like loud rock music and intellectually stimulating sermons from the bible that lead to thought-provoking discussions. We are serious about helping the community and being a blessing to the city. We seek to live in community (which doesn't mean living together, but rather taking care of each others' needs). We have Sunday morning services, but our main goal is to empower people to know the love that God has for them, so that they can love others Monday through Sunday.

It's a brand new church with no affiliations and a desire to grow.
One of our core values is to plant lots of churches in Modesto and surrounding areas over the next ten years. We already have our eyes set on planting some churches in San Francisco.
